As Deputy CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of ATS. You will be a visionary leader, a strategic architect, and an operational powerhouse, driving growth and success across all our ventures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the CEO in developing and implementing long-term strategic plans for ATS, focusing on sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and C-level executives to align departmental objectives with company goals, facilitating communication across teams.
  • Assist in providing strategic direction to various departments, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute new digital solutions and e-commerce opportunities, supporting initiatives that align with ATS's vision.
  • Oversee operational aspects of the company, including project management and resource allocation, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, supporting efforts to ensure satisfaction and drive long-term value.
  • Monitor the company's financial health, assisting in budget management, revenue forecasting, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Support talent acquisition and retention efforts, contributing to building a diverse and skilled workforce.
  • Work closely with team leaders to provide guidance and mentorship, ensuring high performance and productivity.
  • Help monitor and evaluate team performance, collaborating with managers to set expectations and KPIs.
  • Developing and tracking monthly, quarterly, and yearly plans, reporting on key metrics and milestones.
  • Facilitate communication between departments, ensuring that important updates and decisions are effectively shared.
  • Support key projects and initiatives in software development, ERP solutions, website development, and e-commerce platforms, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify challenges and bottlenecks in operations and processes, collaborating with teams to find innovative solutions.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, assisting in efforts to support business growth.
  • Promote ATS's commitment to social impact, contributing to initiatives that develop Ethiopia's tech ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within a technology or e-commerce company.
  • Proven track record of leading and growing successful businesses.
  • Strong understanding of digital solutions, e-commerce trends, software development, ERP systems, website development solutions, cloud services, e-commerce platforms, custom solutions, and disruptive startup models.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, inspire, and empower teams.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Fluency in English and Amharic; additional languages are a plus.
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and social impact.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software tools used in business operations.
