Job Purpose:

The Smart Software Tender Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the company with the procurement and sale of smart software solutions. They are responsible for managing the entire tender process, from identifying potential opportunities to submitting proposals. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of smart software technologies, market analysis, and excellent negotiation skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential tender opportunities by conducting thorough market research and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's smart software solutions and their unique selling points.
  • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to gather required information for tender submissions.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and persuasive tender proposals that meet all the specified requirements within the given timeframe.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify potential risks or advantages during the tender process.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with all necessary regulations, policies, and procedures in the tender submissions.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients, aiming for the best interests of the company while satisfying customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and potential partners.
  • Monitor the progress of ongoing tenders, ensuring that all queries and clarifications are answered promptly and accurately.
  • Provide regular reports, updates, and feedback to the management team regarding the tender process, market conditions, and competitors.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) as a Tender Specialist, preferably in the smart software industry or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of smart software solutions, IoT technologies, and the latest market trends.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to identify potential tender opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling proposals and negotiate effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tender submissions simultaneously under strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and nurture client relationships.
  • Proficient in using tender management software and other relevant tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to think strategically.
