Job Summary:


We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled ICT Director to lead our information and communication technology (ICT) department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the ICT strategy, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, and ensuring the efficient and effective use of technology to support our organization's objectives.


Responsibilities:


1. Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Identify emerging technology trends and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define and prioritize ICT initiatives and projects.
  • Develop and manage the ICT budget in collaboration with the finance department.


2. Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage the ICT department, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation of staff.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team and ensure their alignment with the organization's overall strategy.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the ICT department.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective coordination and delivery of ICT services.


3. Infrastructure and Operations:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's ICT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems.
  • Ensure the availability, security, and reliability of all ICT systems and services.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality ICT services.


4. Project Management:

  • Lead and manage ICT projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget and on schedule.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve any issues or obstacles.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.


5. IT Governance and Risk Management:

  • Develop and implement IT governance frameworks and practices to ensure the effective and efficient use of IT resources.
  • Identify and mitigate IT security risks and ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the availability and integrity of critical systems and data.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (at least 10 years) in a similar role, preferably in a large and complex organization.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of ICT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in leading and delivering complex ICT projects.
  • Ability to develop and implement IT governance frameworks and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.06:46 PM
